Hi Guys! Well this week was a bit stressful for Mark regarding the webinar. It took 3 attempts to get the sound and picture running simultaneously and that was after he had taken advice from Go to Webinar. I think it might have been the internet voodoo spirits paying him back, because he has got us students, wearing our fingers to the bone posting on 350 blogs.

That’s my explanation – do you agree?  This is a massive task but I am determined to get through it. Even though I want to get it completed, I can only do it for so many hours in the day. I am certainly in for a busy week completing last weeks homework and watching the videos and doing this weeks work. As the old saying goes – “no rest for the wicked and very little for the righteous” ( not sure these days where I fit, but I believe it is the righteous group ).

So what was the content that we all waited around so eagerly to hear?

Well as always, Mark is teaching some little extra information and that is great. First task – to put a gravatar on our messages. This will display the picture that you choose. We increased our ping list also. Now for my favorite – squeeze page and download pages.

I must tell you that I typed in the webinar that I didn’t like one of Mark’s videos this week – as a student that is a pretty bold statement. It was a personal message to Mark only (or so I thought).  He asked me why and I said I would have to watch it again and let him know. But…. can you imagine my embarrassment when he asked me in front of the whole group why didn’t I like it? I think my face went every shade of red and I was glad no one could see me.

So now I am just about to watch it and see why I said what I did… So this is Sue McDonald saying come back next week and I hope I can explain why.

Hi Sue – good to hear from you on my blog. I’m sure I have seen your name in the skype channels doing the swaps.

Enjoy the rest of the course and I wish you all the best in your ventures.

Be sure to get to a cut off point where you begin taking big action as opposed to learning as the best way to LEARN is to DO IT!

Hi Peter

Thank you for your your visit and leaving a comment. I really do love it and yes I am gradually doing more and more but you have to have the knowledge first. I have made a few sales and that is always encouraging.

Regards

Sue

Hi Sue

I’m sure you look great with a red face so worry about that at all. You will do well with Mark’s course and stay focus. Remember, whatever the mind can conceive and believe the body can achieve.

Roger

Go out and make it a $ucce$$ful day! :-)

Thank you for visiting my blog.

I see you really are taking action, “wearing your fingers to the bone”. That just means you have a very good mentor/coach.

Keep up the good work and you will definitely be successful!

Dawn

Have a nice online journey remeber-People DO NOT fail at internet marketing, they simply GIVE UP before the magic happens.

Hi Roger

Thanks for the comment. I really was embarrassed but I will go back through the lesson and see why I made the statement – some other students voiced the same opinion later but me – well I am just up front. I am really enjoying IM and I don’t feel it is like work. Takes a lot of time but it will be worth it in the end.

Regards

Sue

Hi Dawn

Thanks for the comment but I love it so I can’t really complain. Mark is a very good coach/mentor and I am so glad I found him.

Regards

Sue

Hi Syed

Thank you for the comment. Yes so many people give up I know. I find it very time consuming at this stage but I know in another 6-8 months that will change and I love it.

Regards

Sue

Hi Sue,
Its interesting you visiting my blog to drop some comments.I hope mak’s course will be like Alex Jeffreys course in list building. Enjoy your course.

Kadri Egbeyemi

Hi Kadri

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I guess Mark’s teaching is very similar to Alex because Mark was taught by Alex. I am really enjoying it but it does involve a lot of time.

Regards

Sue

Hey Sue,
Thanks for checking out my site and stuff. Appreciate it. You know…you can do anything you want in this life. I hadn’t heard of Mark before…but if it came from Alex…I’m sure it’s good. (I’m an AJ MWA 3.0 student myself).
I have to say…I’ve seen and heard many gurus before. MANY.
NOBODY delivers like Alex Jeffreys. They guy was up till 5AM England time taking care of us, every week if he had to here in the US.
I owe the guy a Guiness…or a Keg of it. But he may still be on his exercise maniac stuff and may not drink it. :)

Stay the course. here is my advice, and what is working for me. Find WHAT YOU KNOW AND LOVE…now. What would people PAY to learn about that. NOW, teach it.

There, you will make money.

Brandon

Hi Brandon

Thanks for the visit and leaving a comment. Mark was a student in Alex’s first class and just like Alex he is always there for his students. I am so glad I found him becasue I am loving the journey I am on.

Sue

Hey Sue,

You should never get red faced from stating your point of view but always know your reasons when you tell the person. Good luck with the course I was part of Alex Jeffreys coaching and I learned some great stuff about building a business.

All the best

Glyn

Hi Sue.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Nice blog you have here. Very simple and clean lines.
Good luck with your course. I am doing a similar course with Alex Jeffreys. Who is a fantastic mentor.
I am building another blog for that though, I will let you know when its up.Maybe you can leave a comment on there as well.

Yes I do have a burning desire to succeed but I have so much to learn to do that and that is why I am glad I found myself a great coach and mentor.

Like to stay in touch,

Kind regards

Sue

Hi Glyn

Yes my coach was taught by Alex in the first course he taught. I know why I didn’t like it but I will look at it again in the next day or to and write my reasons. Thanks for the visit and comment,

Kind regards

Sue

Hi Ron

Would be pleased to comment on your blog. My coach was taught by Alex so I suspect he is teaching in the same fashion. Fortunately, I love what I am doing at the moment – well at least 97% of what I do. Thanks for taking the time to visit and comment. Let me know your new site address and I will pay you a visit.

Sue

Sue

Hi Sue,

Thanks for coming to my blog and I’m so pleased you got your avatar up.

You look so happy and I’m sure you’ll remain that way as you continue on your internet journey.

You’re in good hands with Mark and if he coaches the same way Alex did, you’ll have no problems.

If you want to listen to some interviews with some other of Alex students to see how their mind set has helped them you can go to http://www.jeansbestrecommendedproducts.com and check out Alex Jeffreys students.

Take care and good luck.

Jean

Hi Jean

Thank you for taking the time to come and leave a comment. I really love what I am doing even though it takes a lot of time. I enjoy the course very much and as Mark was trained by Alex I guess I am learning much the same things as you learnt.

I will come back for a visit again later.

Kind regards

Sue

Sue:

I think it is okay for you to get a little read faced and I think it is okay if your tell Mark that you did not like one of the videos.

Feedback, both good and bad, only make us better marketers. How can we improve ourselves and our product if we only ever receive positive feedback. At the same time we should give the negative feedback in a manner that is not disrespectful.

Good luck to you!

- Rick

HI Rick

No I was not disrespectful at all and Mark and I had a laugh about it later. I was the only student who said anything but since then a few are saying it was a bit confusing. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and leave a comment.

Sue

Hi Sue,

Hi Steven

Than you for taking the time to put a comment on my blog. I am really loving my journey and all the associated work that goes with it – it really does not seem like work to me. I like inspiration the best.

Sue

Hello Sue,

This is a post that has a lot of ‘personal’ tone to it. It makes a person want to keep reading with an attempt to learn more about you.

Good luck on your marketing journey and I appreciate the comment you made on on my blog.

Take care,
Mike

Hey Sue,

Your blog is a perfect example for the concept of doing the blog hop.

You increase the traffic to your own blog or website, you sometimes get valuable backlinks to your blog and the most important one, you build relationships with other like-minded bloggers and potential future JV partners.

I see a lot of familiar faces from bloggers worldwide in your comment area and quite obviously you have managed to intrigue them with your valuable comments on their blogs to come over to your blog. Well done!
Blog hopping works and you can make it an even better experience for your readers once you´ve installed the plugins Peter Beckenham suggested in his comment.

I am sure we´ll stay in touch, have a good one

Mirko

Hi Mike

Thank you for taking the time to come and visit and add a comment. I am really loving what I do and lovely people like you are telling me it shows and I appreciate it.

Kind regards

Sue

Hi Mirko

Thank you for the visit and the comment. Yes, I will put the plugins that Peter, my fellow Aussie countryman, has suggested. I really love what I do every day and can’t wait till I turn on my computer and read nice comments like yours.

Yes I know that I am making friendships with a lot of people that will last for years to come.

Kind regards

Sue

Thanks
Davy Norton

Hi Davy

Thank you for your comment and I do want to stay in touch with a lot of people where I have commented.

Kind regards

Sue

Hi Davy

I just did a quick edit and changed it to my name

Regards

Sue

Hi Sue,

You have a nice looking blog. I like the list building on the side. Very appealing for the web visitor.

With blog hopping, this will add backlinks to your site, helping the search engine to rank your name. If you see blogs that allow keyword luv, then make sure you also use your brand on the name side as well when commenting on others blog.

However the part I like the most with hopping, is the relationship that you can build with fellow bloggers.

This can help you a long way once you have your own product ready.

Keep up the great work at your blog and thanks for visiting mine.

Best

Louis

Hello Sue! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and I am so glad you enoyed – and know well – “Desiderata.” I have carried a copy around with me all over the world for many years – it is so beautifully and kindly put; and it is so helpful in telling us to not be too hard on ourselves, because we certainly can be.
Your blog is very attractive – so clean and simple. My blog has been neglected for several weeks because I have been ill, but I hope to get back to updating it soon – I too, as you know from my site, am an Alex Jeffreys’ MWA 3.0 student, so you must be in good hands with Mark.
Best wishes,
Amber-Dawn

Hi Amber -Dawn

I totally understand. I was not felling well for about 3 to 4 months and the had to have an emergency appendectomy. I was so sick for days but believed it was a 48 hour virus until husband called the ambulance. Sickness can get all of us.

Hope you are feeling better

Sue

Hi Sue

Thanks for dropping by my blog earlier, well Mark may well have set up a big task but look at the result with all the comments

He’s clearly talked about Oil Rig Hopping which we were taught and it’s value

Time invested getting Backlinks or more ideally time spent outsourcing Backlinks will pay major dividends in your search engine rankings and as Chris says further up in the comments far more traffic

His other observation of learning by doing is so true, so keep in touch and lets see what JV opportunities arise as time goes by

Think that a Stones song?

Best wishes Tony

Hello Sue,

Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.

I am impressed with your blog and can see that you are well into it.

IM is good fun and offers plenty of challenges to get to grips with – it cetainly keeps the ‘grey matter’ exercised!

No doubt you will enjoy it and get plenty of support from your followers.

Best wishes and good fortune.

Kind regards

Hi Sue,
Thanks for visiting (one of) my blogs! The one you visited is one I am only starting to build.
Your blog is coming along well, great content and relates your own position.
You seem to have found an excellent mentor in Mark Tyrell, especially as he is a student of Alex Jeffrys who regularly kept me up into the early hours as I live in the UK! I was absolutely shattered the day after and I don’t think that time of night is my time for studying as I am having to go through the webinars again!
My main blog is at
http://richard-davy.com/
and for your interest and others who may read this I am taking part in a 100 bloggers comment challenge started by a couple of John Thornhill’s former students which is a great way of getting to know others in the same niche.
You can find my contribution at
http://richard-davy.com/internet-marketing-together-we-succeed-on-our-own-its-harder/, and I have a list of all the contributors list on my site. well worth a look.
All the best on your journey, I have bookmarked your blog so that I can return and see how you are getting on.
If I can help at all, just holler!

Hi Sue,
thanks so much for visiting my site and leaving such a nice comment! This is my return visit and I have to say you are doing a fabulous job with your site, hats off! I even had a look at your video diaries ;)
I wish you all the success in the world, and I am glad to hear that you are over the emergency appendectomy! Keep in touch… :) Petra

Sue, after reading through all the comments on your site I have to ask whether you have ever considered threaded comments? It will be much easier to see which comments relate to each other, and I think you can simply turn it on in your Discussion Settings in your WP-Admin area. If that doesn’t work, there is always the plugin “WordPress Thread Comment” that can be uploaded and activated. – Just a tip! :)

I like the part where you told your mentor; i don’t like this video. It takes *guts* and that’s the sort of attitude it takes to make it out online. Stand Up and Express yourself – without worrying about what people think of you. This is where your true character is able to shine through and reach your readers.

Thanks for the post on my blog, hope the info you got works on your computer and make it run better. Learning all this stuff on IM is a big up hill adventure. I’am taking the Alex Jeffreys course and there is a lot to learn!!
I like the simple little videos you have put in, good start.
On your Bucket list you wont to go to Churchill Manitoba to see the poler bears. I an originally from Manitoba, now living in Calgary Alberta.
Good luck.
Scott Morton

Hi Scott

Thanks for taking the time to write a comment on my blog. Yes I definitely want to go to Churchill but when it will happen I am not sure. I think we are going to Rhode Island for Christmas. It is in the planning stage at the moment. I got a video camera on Monday so now I have to do better. My coach Mark was taught by Alex.

Regards

Sue

Hi Brad

Thanks for the comment. The funny thing was after I had said it, someone else said it really wasn’t so Mark has agreed to redo it. He used Microsoft when most of use are used to Kompozer and to learn a new program as well as what we were being taught was the problem. Yes I was polite and Mark and I talked about it later and we laughed. There is a lot of learning with this course but I really love it and I think that is half the battle.

Regards

Sue

Hi Petra

Thank you for the comments. I know I put in the effort to comment on over 500 blogs to get my comments but it is pleasing when people take the time to visit. Thanks for the tip – now that I have passed the 200 mark in total I should do something. I will go and have a look.

Regards

Sue

Thanks again Petra. Yes I was given a video camera on Monday so now I will be able to do better videos I hope. It is either this week or next week we have to create one for the course. Yes getting sick like that was a bit frightening but I am all better now.

Stay in touch

Sue

Hi Peter

Thank you for taking the time to visit and add a comment. I will read your book about carpets but at the moment I have to complete all my homework for this week and then I should get a little “free” time. Really how time is never free but sometimes there are less pressing tasks.

Kind regards

Sue
