Hi guys. Well we have just finished week 2 and I noticed some new material that Mark has included this time. That is what he promised to do and he has certainly kept his promise.

I just love learning this subject but I wonder how many other students love it the way I do or they are looking at it as a hard slog.  Confucius one said  ” Find a job you love, and you will never work another day of your life.”  That is such a true statement. Although I spend hours on my computer doing internet marketing, I wouldn’t want it any other way at the moment. I know what I am doing  is building a strong foundation for my business.

What enables me to do this, is the right mindset. Yes – I am back to that subject again. It is one of the most important aspects of anything you do. If you approach any task you do with the “can do”, “will do” approach you will find things a lot easier. Have a look at what you have to do and make a plan to achieve it. Do not allow yourself to be side tracked and start going down the wrong path.

The reason why there is such a high percentage failure rate in internet marketing because some people cannot stay focused. They open their emails of a day and can spend hours just looking at some of the videos that have arrived. If you want to succeed – stop doing this. I am not saying don’t read your emails – what I am saying don’t waste a lot of time looking for the “quick fix and make money now system”. It does not exist.

Instead, write down the list of homework that you have been given and tick each section off as you do it. When you look at the page when you have completed each section,  you will have achieved your goals for the week but more importantly you know that great feeling of accomplishment.

I have been issued a challenge by my mentor/coach -  to create an original product for the Warrior Special Offer. I have no PLR as a guide, all I have is my ability to research the subject matter and create my product.

This is a pretty daunting task but I love a challenge so I am just going to see how it works out. The challenge is based on creating a product in your own particular niche and by the time I have completed it,I hope I have a very informative product. So, as I am primarily in the Internet Marketing niche, I have to decided  what subject I want to write about.

Not to make it too easy or too hard I decided to write about how to create a product for any niche. So within the next few days, I will have done all my research and produced my own report. I am thinking of doing it as a video – again, another challenge, because I find video rather frightening.  I believe that if you can produce a product in one niche you can easily produce on in another niche.

The thing is, there are rules to follow when you are creating your own product. Most new marketers like to take a PLR and rewrite a large percentage but I do not have that luxury this time so I will tackle this head on.

When I have completed I will post a link here and then you will be able to go see the results.

Last week was officially the last week of the Newbies Course, but just as with every other part of this course, Mark Terrell my coach/mentor is over delivering and we have another webinar this week.

I know if you are a newbie or brand new to Internet Marketing – I would strongly recommend this course to you. I have even started making sales and that is proof that this course works. Mark personally works, one on one with you using skype, if you do not understand something.

What are some of the main things you can expect to learn?

The first thing you will learn is how to choose your domain name and where you buy it – Namecheap. Then you must be able to set up your hosting account at Hostgator or you can takes Mark’s offer hosting it on his server. It is entirely your choice. Then we set up an Aweber account but if you have another reliable autoresponder, you do not have to change.

Now we get on with creating your first blog. We want you to tell everyone that you have arrived on the world stage of internet marketing. Mark will help you set up a opt-in box and give you a free product that you can download and allow your subscribers to get it when they sign into your opt-in box. Then the fun begins – you have to drive traffic to your blog. If you read some of my previous posts, you will see just how I did that, but there are a few ways that I have kept as a secret. I learnt them from Mark – so I know he will tell you also. My list has gone from a very small number into the hundreds and the methods I have been shown, gets me a greater number of people every day.

Mark teaches you the finer points that will potentially increase your success rate. Now, I say “potentially” here because you are the one who has to do the work and make your success possible. There is however one consolation here “You have to do it for yourself but you do not have to do it alone”.

If you are considering doing a course on Internet Marketing  – look no further.  It has been the best course with the best support and you get to interact with fellow students. I thoroughly enjoyed this course.

This week, I was having a skype call with my coach and mentor Mark Terrell and the subject of, why are some people successful and others are not, came up during the conversation.

This bought me back to an article I wrote a long time ago – well not that long ago – but it seems like it. It was in August last year. Why do some people learn how to do something and become very successful at it?  The reason, I believe, is the teacher they have. This applies to anything you learn, be it at – home, school, college or as here with this Internet Marketing course. If you have someone, be it teacher or parent, who gives you words of encouragement, you will be spurred on to achieve more.

Yes, this gives you the right mind set, the positive attitude that you are going to reach the goals you have set for yourself. It has been proven scientifically, that if a child till the age of 7, is told words that are similar to these “you are stupid” or “you will never amount to anything”, these are the thought that they carry into their adult life. It becomes a self fulfilling prophesy.  When children, who are treated in this type of manner, they allow  these thoughts to become their beliefs. But on the other hand, if they are praised and given  words of encouragement – they excel.

There is a similar thought pattern with friends and family of some internet marketers. It often happens friends or family will ask a question like”have you made any money yet” and because you haven’t or very little amount, you will often be told to give it away and get a second job. They quit when they are so close to becoming a success. I know some of you who read this , will relate to this.

So the next time you are teaching either a child or an adult, remember to encourage them  – praise them and see the difference that you are making in their lives.

Just read a really good post on a Jimmy D.Brown’s blog . It’s always interesting to see what other people write.

The post posed a few questions – like why do people read blogs?  What gets people to read your blog in particular?  Well let me ask you?  Who are you? Why have you come to visit my blog? Are you curious to find out what this whole topic is about?

When I ask “Who’s Out There” I am not referring to alien life or people on other planets – no I am referring to you – my readers.  Yes – it is all about your headline and if it can grab the readers attention.

As someone new to internet marketing, I am just trying to tell you about what I am doing on my journey to being a success. No, I am not bragging because I know I have the determination to get there and attain all the success I want. How do I know that? Well here I am going to let you in on a big secret – it is having the right mind set. I want you all to take a look at this video and you too will gain the knowledge how to conceive and achieve. Who else better to talk about it than Frank Kern and a fellow from my country Ryan Higgins?

Well it’s Sue again…

This week has been a little bit stressful I think. There is so much to do when you are trying to manage your normal everyday life and your Internet Marketing homework. We are still in the driving traffic to our blog phase and I know it is just a matter of time and persistence to get people to sign up for my free book. On the other hand, I know people from all around the world are visiting my site. I know this because of Google analytics. This is an absolute great tool and everyone should use it.

If you install it you have so much you can find out. If you go to Google analytics and “View report” and then “Map Overlay” you can view where your traffic is coming from. I really don’t know how some of these people have found me. I have people from over 14 countries as of this morning. The next interesting statistic is to go to Traffic – you will find out the source of your traffic.

I have cloaked my URL in my signature block on the warrior forum. I know you don’t have to cloak it but I just want to see how many people would want “to follow my journey in the IM world”. Again, I have been trying to be an active and participating member of the forum this week and I have managed to get 9 people to visit my site. I even managed to get thanked once. I thought that was worth the effort I had put in. So over the next few weeks, I shall have to keep going to the warrior forum every day. I’ll make it my number two priority because I always start my day by checking my emails.

This week on the webinar, we were given a few more ideas for driving traffic to our site. I intend to implement then and I let you all know how I get on. Till then, cheers…
