Well – just finished another session with Mark and my fellow students. I have done heaps of studying on internet marketing in the last few months but there is always something that you haven’t been shown or you haven’t been told. Tonight was about getting heaps of back links and it is so much easier than the way I was shown. Can’t wait till I see how many links I can get.
Now this week we are also going to upload a free book to our blog and start building our list.
Have you ever been to your inbox and it is full of the next best thing – the magic pill that will give you millions if you swallow it? I have followed Mark’s advice and not bought a single product. I have previously and my download box is full of unread ebooks that I thought I really needed. I have been unsubscribing from so many emails, I even had one cheeky marketer contact me and ask for a reason, we have now become friends.
I agree with Mark that, if you are on a marketer’s list, people should foster a relationship with you before they try and sell their products to you. With most of the ones I have hit unsubscribe, they are sending me an email through adswaps and just want you to buy the product. I can get 3 or 4 emails for the same product.
These marketers are certainly teaching me what NOT to do. As some marketers now realize that their emails are not being read and they are wondering why. You really have to stand out from the crowd and foster that relationship before you start selling your product. So tomorrow I am going to up load my book.
Come back then and have a look and let me know what you think………. Sue

Hiya Sue,
Just popped over to see what you were up to, keep up with the great work, and if you get stuck gimme a hollar and I will help you too.
You may feel Internet marketing is a long road, and pretty tough at times, but it’s well worth it. You have made a start and it’s time to be proud of you!!!
Take Care
Tara
Hi Sue
Thanks for the comment on my blog…
I hope Marks training is going well for you. Your blog looks great, I’ll have a good look around in a minute.
Keep at this though, and don’t give up. I got overwhelmed when I first started. My first exposure to Internet Marketing was through Alex’s course, yet I didn’t get the full benefits from it as I didn’t really have a clear goal with what I wanted.
Alex’s content was good, but I found it difficult to go back into any of the modules to pick out a section I was struggling with. Also his course was focused on the IM niche and becoming a personality within that niche.
Of course you can apply this’personality’ concept to any niche and make money by building a following, but some of us just want to market from behind the scenes.
I hope Marks content is easy enough to digest. It certainly looks to be as your blog is taking great form, and he’s teaching you the right things.
Yeah. Ignore ‘most’ of those marketing emails. They will send you mad eventually. But some you can learn a great deal from.
If I can ever recommend another marketer I will only say Mark Joyner’s stuff is the real deal. His Simpleology course and associated products are top notch and you can get real benefit from his teaching methods.
Good luck!! I’ll try and follow your progress….
Dave
Hi Sue,
Thanks so much for leaving a comment on my blog regarding my cancer journey. I’ll continue to write about my experiences as well as my online businesses, soon.
I wish you much success with your online business. You’re off to a good start it sounds like. It’s very easy to get caught up in all the email and information. One of the keys is to take action. . . do something every day (besides read), lol.
Warmly,
Theresa
Hi Sue
Mark was on the same coaching course that I was with Alex Jeffreys. He is obviously teaching you the right way your blog is probably the most important thing you have to let people know you.
When I first started on the internet I didn’t know anything about blogs or social marketing but after Alex’s coaching I did. My blog has been online now for about 15 months and I add to it as and when I have something to blog about.
My next series of posts will be on the different traffic methods available and each post will take one method only to talk about. The first one will be on using JV Giveaways to build your list and is based on a webinar i was on with Paul Teague and Askley Gough. It will be published later today.
You have a box at the top of you blog page headed featured posts but it is blank and as a result it spoils you blog (in my opinion). I have no doubt that as your blog develops you will list some posts in there but if you put the title of one of your existing posts in the box it will not look so bad.
Richard
Hi Sue
I forgot to say if there is anything I can help you with just let me know and also to let you know that your twitter link does not work.

Hi Sue,
Thanks for popping by at my site earlier. I remember Mark from Alex´s course he seemed like a straight up kind of guy.
Reading this post he obviously is teaching you in the correct manner i.e give and you will receive !
Anyway keep up the good work.
All the best,
Paull
Hi, thanks for dropping by my blog. There is a lot of truth to your above post. It is so easy to get pulled into different directions.
The result, the dreaded information overload.
The answer is a step by step plan and take action.
Anything I can help you with please ask.
Sue,
Thanks much for visiting my wee little blog. It’s been there for a bit, I’ve been dibbling with it here and there. But I know it is something I will soon be focusing more on. Your visit is indeed an inspiration!
I look forward to visiting your blog again and good luck on your book! I sense the same excitement I had when I started learning. It’s like “FINALLY!, I have a sense of direction…”
Cheers,
Nadeem
Hi Sue,
Firstly, thanks for recently visiting my blog. Before I comment on anything else, I have to say that I was very impressed with your blog theme and your current efforts.
I noticed that you have been busily rounding up a lot of the original Alex F500 crew – lol – that to me shows that not only are you a person who takes action, but someone who has great motivation and will definitely succeed.
From reading your post with regards to what Mark is teaching, you are definitely in great hands and yeah, like many have previously said, ignore most of them “just marketing -sell, sell sell” emails, however there are some that you can definitely learn a lot from, i.e. the ones that are really clever, tickles your emotions and make you really tempted to purchase something.
I wish you all the best of luck with your training and your new book.
Again, like many have said, if you need any help or have any queries on anything that you feel that I may be able to help you on – feel free to pick my brain and I’ll try and reply asap!
Hi Sue,
Glad you stopped by my blog and said hello. There are many ways to go on-line. I think the important thing as you learn is to find what’s right for you.
I am an e-bay silver powerseller so I have a nice steady income on-line. I also dabble with Internet Marketing. I’ve made some good money through affilaite marketing thru videos and my list.
Relationship is the key with list building. It’s not the size of a list that makes money but being a real friend to the people on your list.
Best Wishes as you find your way on-line.
Rob
Thanks Rob
I really appreciate it. I am determined to succeed. I have a saying “I have to do it for myself but I don’t have to do it alone”.
Kindest regards
Sue
Hi Nigal
Thanks for you comment. Thank you for the offer of help – I may need it some time or a few times.
I really appreciate it. I am determined to succeed. I have a saying “I have to do it for myself but I don’t have to do it alone”.
Hi Nadeem
Thank you for your comment. Glad I stirred the pot of inspiration for you. Keep going. I have been learning for a few months now but I find that different teachers always teach different things and that is always interesting.
I really appreciate it. I am determined to succeed. I have a saying “I have to do it for myself but I don’t have to do it alone”.
Hi Andy
Thanks for taking the time to write a comment. I am determined that what ever I learn that I will succeed. I am spending more hours doing internet marketing per week than I did at my last full time job working for a boss. I can’t believe that after writing that blog somehow I have landed up on Frank Kern’s list – I don’t think I will unsubscribe from that one.
Hi Paull
Thanks for your comment. I really appreciate that there are so many nice people out there who have commented on my blog. I have been trying to learn internet marketing since last August but only seriously in the last few months. I love it. Can’t wait till I get the trainer wheels off and I can roll along.
Thanks Richard
I haven’t linked into my twitter yet because I don’t want to “jump the gun”. I am just going at the pace Mark is teaching – I might ask him if I can link it. I have been learning internet marking since last August but after losing my job at the end of last year – I decided that this is what I want. I have the time and also the passion to succeed.
Thank you Theresa,
You are quite inspirational. I have a site that I am still working on that you may like to have a look at. I am not asking you to buy any of the products displayed, please don’t think that. I have written a lot of information there that you may like to read. I have a masters degree in metaphysics so that is why I decided to build a site lie this. http://healththroughhealinghands.com
Thanks for you kind advice but I work on my internet “stuff” for many hours nearly every day and will continue to do so till I succeed.
Thanks Dave for your comment.
I have heard the name Mark Joyner but haven’t got any of his stuff. I made a promise to myself not to but any more till at least I have finished the Newbie part of the course and I have another 8 weeks so the old paypal account will wonder where have I gone. I have bought so much stuff and some of them have not even been unzipped in my download box. I think after this course I will take a totally different look at anything I purchase.
I really appreciate that you have taken the time to comment.
Hi Tara
Thanks for the kind words and the offer of help. I may need it some time. I really enjoy Internet marketing, although I am only still learning. One of my best friends asked me the other day – “when are you going to make some money from it”. I just smiled and said it had taken some of the best over 2 years and I am determined to succeed and make my way. You may hear from me at some time if I get stuck and need some help. Really appreciate your comment.
Hi Sue,
Thanks for your mail. I remember Mark, we did together the very first Alex’s coaching program. You are in right hands.
I like your blog template, very clean.
Good luck with your e-book. Try to build a relationship with your list and give them lots of advise and please remember that you can sell anything on Internet and not just “how to make money on Internet”. Everything around us is a possible product.
Also if you need some help please ask.
Gordan Bosnjak
Hi Sue,
Looks like you’ve been doing the rounds of the blogs
just as Alex taught us. Thanks for the visit by the way.
Your blog is looking good, just keep going and you’ll be reaching your goals before you know it.
Dave Everett
Hi Sue,
I can see you are learning well! What is most important, you are taking action. I can only say well done. You are going to be the one that gets away. Soaring high!
Well done and good luck!
Hi Gordon
Thanks for taking the time to add a comment. I am really enjoying learning from Mark. I have been trying to learn since August last year. I am determined to succeed.
I appreciate your offer of help too.
