Well it’s Sue again…

This week has been a little bit stressful I think. There is so much to do when you are trying to manage your normal everyday life and your Internet Marketing homework. We are still in the driving traffic to our blog phase and I know it is just a matter of time and persistence to get people to sign up for my free book. On the other hand, I know people from all around the world are visiting my site. I know this because of Google analytics. This is an absolute great tool and everyone should use it.

If you install it you have so much you can find out. If you go to Google analytics and “View report” and then “Map Overlay” you can view where your traffic is coming from. I really don’t know how some of these people have found me. I have people from over 14 countries as of this morning. The next interesting statistic is to go to Traffic – you will find out the source of your traffic.

I have cloaked my URL in my signature block on the warrior forum. I know you don’t have to cloak it but I just want to see how many people would want “to follow my journey in the IM world”. Again, I have been trying to be an active and participating member of the forum this week and I have managed to get 9 people to visit my site. I even managed to get thanked once. I thought that was worth the effort I had put in. So over the next few weeks, I shall have to keep going to the warrior forum every day. I’ll make it my number two priority because I always start my day by checking my emails.

This week on the webinar, we were given a few more ideas for driving traffic to our site. I intend to implement then and I let you all know how I get on. Till then, cheers…

Thanks Felic

I am determined to succeed but driving traffic is I think the hardest part. All the other things I am doing seem easy. Thanks for the words of encouragement.

Hi Sue

I was once at the stage you are at present when driving traffic to your blog, and it can be hard work getting traffic to your site. But once you are on a roll, which sounds like you are, its very rewarding in seeing the results.

I don’t use Google analytics, but I know from good friends that it is a great tool, at the moment I use a wordpress plugin called Statpress, it really tells me the in and outs of all the visitors to my site and is really a great tool too.

I wish you all the best Sue with your blog, and I will be visiting more often to see what you are up to.

Thanks

Marc Ward

Thanks Marc

It is always good to get words of encouragement. I think it is hard to get the traffic but I think, what you really need, is perseverance and persistence and not giving up. I Know what the failure rate in IM is like so I am determined to succeed. I will let you know when I make it in the “big-time.”

Hey Sue

Can not wait for you to succeed, you seem a great lady.

Thanks Marc

Hello Sue

Thanks for visiting my blog. Since taking Alex’s course I have redesigned the blog because I had a computer crash and lost all my previous posts. Now I use an online company called Carbonite to back-up everything.

You have a very attractive-looking blog and your posts are very engaging so I think you will do well. I’ll certainly be back to read of your progress.

You are absolutely right that you have to be prepared to work hard to achieve success on the Internet. The gurus make it sound far too easy and dump you as soon as you’ve signed up with them.

You, however, appear to have a mentor and guide who is genuine and is willing to help each individual on his course. Mark was on my course with Alex so I know you are in excellent hands. And I think that whoever follows you will get the same personal attention.

Best Wishes
Joe

Hi Joe

Thank you for your kind words. I really try and spark a bit of interest for the reader – sometimes when I finish them and reread them I wonder where the ideas every came from. I like to give my blogs a personal touch. I am determined to succeed – the word failure is not in my vocabulary.

Regards

Sue
