Well as you can see I have joined Alex Jeffreys coaching program. I guess I know some things about internet marketing but I want to achieve my goals and I believe that with Alex I will achieve my goals and dreams.

Have I made some huge mistakes on my journey? Originally I was introduced to internet marketing through what I now know was a “hype fest.” This group was offering to make you rich beyond your wildest dreams and as my husband was interested in computers and had just had a stroke a few months earlier, I thought that it would be good for him – I guess I thought it was going to be a type of therapy. What this group was charging was a lot of money but I thought if it was going to keep him interested and make some money at the same time – then it would be worth it. They even gave a money back guarantee if you weren’t making money. What I really did not know was the only income we were getting was from Google Adwords and they received the payments and it was sent to you 6 weeks later.

To cut a long story short they were caught by Google using black hat methods and so they decided to change the course structure and ask people to resign. My husband was not managing with it so we elected not to resign with the new course and asked for our money back. That was when things went really wrong. Because we had been receiving money from Google Adwords from the ads on our site – they said we had made money and therefore not entitled to a refund.

I had been trying to help my husband and the whole world of the internet fascinated me. So I decided to find someone who would teach me. Again second mistake – I signed up with someone, who although they said the course was for a newcomer, it was really was at an intermediate level and I found it very difficult and one week after the course finished they refused any further help or assistance. They never really talked about list building. The whole course centered about product creation and uploading your product online.

My husband told me to pursue internet marketing but if I had of known what it really entailed I may have run for cover. I am not a person who quits things and so I decided to bite the bullet and join Alex Jeffery’s inner circle.

Yes I have made some money online but I have not made it consistently and I believe that I have come to the right place.

The problem that I have found working online is that some coach/mentors will not tell you their secrets or exactly how they do what they do. One coach blatantly told me he only gave 80-90% and if I wanted more I would have to pay to have private coaching.

So up till now, it has been an up and down ride but I am going to give this my all and not be left wonder what if.

So come on this journey with me and see what I am achieving along the way.

To YOUR success

Hi I just watched a webinar and I would like to say it was back to basics. It reminded me where I first started and where I am now.Yes what a journey this has been. Everybody who comes online has to start at the beginning and it seems so strange to think back to the start of when you were first learning how to get started.

I remembered my start and my first coach telling me to write a blog but before that I had to buy a domain name, set up hosting, paypal and then get an autoresponder.

I remember the first blog post I ever wrote about the beginning of a long journey. I had no idea about the internet and what I had to learn. I have a saying about internet marketing – “You don’t know what you don’t know.” That sounds a bit like a riddle but it is so true. Every step you take is a new adventure.

I remember first learning about WordPress and I had to pick a theme. Now that doesn’t sound hard but to a newbie it was daunting but then I was told if I didn’t like it I could change the theme. It was just a matter of finding the new one and uploading it (again I had to learn how to upload the theme). Then I had to learn about widgets and plugins. It seemed strange at the time because it seemed quite difficult but now I can create a site very quickly.

I remember the first time I was told to put a video into my blog from Youtube. Again I had to be shown how to do that. I was taught all of this over a few weeks. Seems strange to remember back to then when I wanted to earn my first dollar online.

That is a really exciting moment for an internet marketer, checking their account and seeing money, even if it only a few dollars, it makes you believe that it is possible to make money online. It makes all the work that you have done feel worthwhile. You want to tell everyone but the secret is you have to be able to consistently see the money come in before you can throw away your day job to go fulltime online.

Some people do not want to make millions but just help with a little extra cash that will give them the extras in life that they could not necessarily afford before. So whatever your dreams are I hope you achieve them.
